San Diego’s Walk for Kids

Join us on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Mission Bay (Crown Point Drive) as we walk to provide the children of San Diego a better future.

San Diego Center for Children helps children thrive whose trauma, abuse, or mental health challenges are delaying their ability to succeed.  Founded in 1887, the Center is San Diego’s oldest accredited non-profit children’s organization.  The Center is a leader in providing needed therapeutic counseling services to children and families throughout our community.

Who Benefits?  The proceeds from the Walk for Kids fund essential programs for these children including counseling, treatment, school, music, art, and recreation across San Diego County.

About the Course:  The scenic course will take you along the shores of beautiful Mission Bay.  The 5 km (3.1 mile) “out and back” walk course starts at the grass area at the south end of the Crown Point Drive parking area, and eventually curves north along Riviera Shores, returning on the same path back to the starting area.
